Hobs 3D Manchester reveal VRCUB3D

Showcasing the latest virtual reality experience, Hobs 3D Manchester were delighted to reveal the brand-new VRCUB3D at their exclusive 3D visualisation event.

VRCUB3D introduces affordable, high-quality virtual reality experiences with its lightweight, portable and reusable cardboard pop-up cube. Last year, an early prototype was launched and tested to a great reception at Digital Construction Week. Since refining the design, the latest version of VRCUB3D was showcased to dozens of guests at Hobs 3D Manchester, who were given the opportunity to test it.

As well as a drinks reception, donations were collected for the Steve Burne Rooms fund which is due to be built at the Ronald McDonald House in Manchester. During the evening, Shay O’Carroll, National Sales Director of Hobs 3D, also delivered a presentation explaining the design process of VRCUB3D, as well as its benefits.

Virtual Reality has become an established means to creatively and clearly communicate – whether the end goal be to immerse clients, or to inform colleagues. As the technology has become more accessible, it has also steadily evolved, constantly being pushed in the pursuit of higher performance, deeper immersion and more varied interactivity. Together, these advancements have created content of real value in areas of Health and Safety Education, Construction, Property Marketing, Architectural Visualisation and Manufacturing.
